A good friend of mine at CCV, Mike McGovern, sent me this picture. That's him on the right. Mike's been with me now at CCV since the whole thing started. He's one of those great guys any pastor would love to have as his friend. This is a picture of the both of us at Vision Night.
(Actually, Mike made me post this or he said he'd start rumors about me on the internet.)
The cool thing is this picture proves that a devoted, fully-committed follower of Jesus can love on outright pagans. Mike was wearing a Penn State jacket while I had on my Troy Smith Ohio State jersey from last year.

I see your a pretty good judge of character. A couple years back, you said out at the Origins conference "I was a keeper!" and Mike is your good buddy - and we are both Penn State fans!

This is Mike just to set the record straight. I was actually wearing a Penn State jacket (labeled on front and back) as well as a nice Penn State t-shirt. When we met up that night, you looked at me kind of in a puzzled way and said "What team are you supporting, dude?". Later that night at the service you didn't even mention Penn State! I think you have a case of Paterno-envy!. Your Lehigh Valley friend and I are Penn State brothers....We Are....Penn State!
