Financial Warrior Joe Sangl
In January we did a sermon series on personal finances called The Financial Battleplan. We took quotes from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and crafted a battle-themed presentation for the whole series. Even though it was kinda cheesy at times, in light of what happened in our economy shortly thereafter, the battle theme proved timely. Our topics were:
Week 1: Preparing for the Fight (Debt)
Week 2: The Heat of Battle (Tithing)
Week 3: Winning the War (Saving)
On the fourth week we brought in “financial warrior” Joe Sangl to come in and bat clean-up. He preached and then led an intensive 2 hour financial seminar after church called “The Financial Learning Experience.” He did an outstanding job and our people seemed to really enjoy him and get a lot out of it.
In keeping with my “Friday Shout-Outs,” I thought I’d pass along…
Joe has a financial BLOG you might want to check out.
He also has a WEBSITE that has easy to use practical tools to cut expenses and debt fast.
And he also has a BOOK and a companion SMALL GROUP STUDY you can order.
If you’d like to have Joe preach or present “The Financial Learning Experience” at your church you can contact him HERE. He’s funny, humble and insightful.
In keeping with our cheesy Sun Tzu theme we created a video to promote Joe’s event in our church. Enjoy…
