Can you assist us blog readers where God the Father, Jesus or the disciples communicate that continuing in Sin is ok? A scripture verse would be helpful. I personally think that Pauls letter to the Corinthians, Ephesians, and the Romans may communicate a different perspective.

Stop pretending to live the 'all clean christian life'. I'm sure we have all done these type of things in the past (i.e. watch porn, sinned, etc). There is NOTHING wrong with it. I can't stand the people who say they don't watch it or don't like R movies. That is bull. Some people need to stop living in a closed up world.

I like the kid-in-mind.com. But what is really interesting in this post is the surprise seeing the male organ on a big screen. Maybe it was a size thing. It is sad that people take offense to the beauty of God's creation when it is displayed in a manner which they deem inappropriat. I am all for conviction, and walking out of a movie.

What was the offense? Were you embarrased? Did it make your spouse feel awkward? Did it reflect some Maplethorp twisted artistic presentation?

What strikes me as odd that numerous Christians may be offened by the appearance of a penis on a big screen to the point where they will walk out of a movie and post their thoughts on a blog.

How many of those same Christians will walk out of a movie where the names of God, and Jesus are used with utter disrespect and treated as filth?

Unfortunately, I totally agree. Not only have we lost, it was no contest. We have laid down and accepted the fate that we cannot compete or have a voice with the world. You would think Christians would have the sense to learn from our mistakes (i.e. Roe v. Wade) and use the voice God has given us, but we remain silent. Why?

Recently, Fox 23 here in Tulsa aired a Degrassi show at 9:00AM during Fox Kids where a boy was hiding that he was gay. Not only is the gay thing wrong, why have any sexuality matters discussed during Kids programming. Many people from our church sent letters and emails to the station director at my request, and she came back calling the show educational and informative… educational and informative! Part of me was unsure whether or not we should take a stand, but I feel like we cannot act like the Christians did during the holocaust and sing a little louder as people are getting murdered. We must use our voices to take a stand.

If we continue with our current strategy of being silent and taking it on the chin, we will find that it is over and that which was once unimaginable is now on Saturday mornings for our little ones to see. That is pathetic, and we can do better!

The culture war has been going on for centuries. (Think: pagan life in Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and Ancient Egypt, The Middle Ages, The French Revolution...Madonna, etc...) It is our challenge as Christians to "engage the culture". We can begin by teaching our children a Christian worldview where God's truth is revealed in every aspect of life. Every church should offer The Truth Project by Focus on the Family to their congregation. If you haven't taken the class, it will change your life...and help you with the battle.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Getting Things Done. I'm mid-way through the book and I'm realizing that I have a system that's similar to GTD, but it was created out of need and probably isn't as efficient.

So, the question for me will be if I should change my system to what GTD is suggesting or if I'm stress-free & productive enough with what I have.
